Great qualityI used this as an underlayment for new carpet in my Jeep Cherokee. It's really thick and easy to work with. Cutting it was a bit of a challenge as it is very durable, but I found tin snips to work well.
Does this product absorb water and moisture? Trying to replace the original foam that acted as sponge when got wet under carpet. Thanks

This product would have the ability to absorb moisture. Our Heat and sound barrier is a paint on coating which would not absorb moisture. https://www.eastwood.com/heat-and-sound-barrier-coating-1-5-gallon-kit.html

can this be used as roof insulation?

Since under the roof you will want maximum heat blockage you will want to consider our X mat for under head liner which stops up to 105F. https://www.eastwood.com/x-mat-underhood-and-headliner-51x39x1-4.html
