Smooth runningPurchased the DW 756 bench grinder to use sharpening drill bits and lathe tools. I have to say, it exceeds my expectations for a 6" bench grinder.
There is zero vibration with the grinding wheels which were included with the machine.
I will certainly recommend this bench grinder to anyone!

Very stable bench grinder[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great small bench grinder, stable and well balanced, very little vibration. Has guards for shards and protection around actual grinding wheel. Easy access to on/off switch that is solid. Easy to move around if needed, not too heavy.

Good power, get better bearingsHas a very noticeable stringer power than any brand in the class I've used. Im hard on them. Ive had 4... 3 of them the left bearing went out in less than 6mo. Even though it got a lot of hours and work done... Its what'll fail first. Last one i still use on occasion wore out its start capacitor in about a year and couple months

ImpressedReplaced this for my basic bench grinder at work. Powerful enough for a 6" chineese made grinder. The reason I came here wasn't to give feedback, since I'm here I thought I would. One of my co-workers broke one of the eye shields, he's one of those guys that could brake an anvil in a sandbox.
How easy is it to remove/replace if I want to make it portable in order to make space on my bench when not in use?

What is the arbor size? Does it come with or is wire wheel available?

The arbor size of this specific grinder is 1/2" and is designed to work with 3/4" thick wheels. We do not offer a wire wheel for this unit specifically at this time.
