Yes it is possible to apply Eastwood's Vintage Violate Flakes with your clear coat. It is recommended to suspend the flake in your clear coat and spray it with spray gun.

How would this flake do over a dark blue base coat?
Asked by: James
This could give a really nice "ghost" appearance where they don't show much until you really look. With any custom job we always recommend buying a small amount and testing on a let down panel prior to the full paint job to determine the number of coats you wish to get the right effect.

This questaion may sound silly but, Can it be applied with binder over the basecoat and then clear coat for protection?
Asked by: Mucaro desde la isla
Our Flakes should be sprayed on using an Internal Clear coat. Than after that has been sprayed on, then apply the regular clear over top of the Internal clear.

What’s the minimum tip size that can be used and what’s the preferred size for spraying this type of metal flake?
Asked by: Mike54739
As this flake is very small you can spray it though a 1.4 tip.
