Gas tank cleaning and sealingI have used Eastwood prior to this several years ago when I was doing restoration work and have always found the products perfect for each job. The prices are very reasonable and selection is good also, will continue to use them for all my needs.

Looks like POR15 bubbled inside the tank.was not completely satisfied with product. Have a rusty motorcycle tank and there are still spots of rust.

Fuel Tank SealerAwesome product, 1 gallon did a 20 gallon tank and only took about 15 minutes of rolling the tank around. Had enough after draining to do another.

will this work in an antique rear end housing?

It was designed for sealing a Fuel tank.
I'm not sure the need it to seal anything on the rear as it was designed for sealing a tank.

My tank is excellent inside; the rust holes came from the outside. The inside still has the original sealer applied by the factory. Does the original sealer need to be removed first? Does the entire tank need to be coated, or just the area with holes?

Yes,
We recommend removing as much original sealer as possible if the tank has one with MEK or some other remover/ paint dissolver. And then we recommend recoating the entire tank.

Will this gas tank sealer also work on a steel coolant reservoir holding tank that has some minor rust inside... So is this product recommend for coolant vs fuel liquids?

I am looking for a sealer for the tank on my dirt bike. The part that makes it difficult to find one is that the tank is made of polyethylene. Would this product work for that?

Unfortunately this product is designed to work in metal gas tanks only.. You may want to contact Por-15 @ 1-800-457-6715 for detail on how to repair poly tanks.
