Simple and easy to useWith so many metal brakes out there I took a chance on this one and I was not disappointed. It's heavy enough that bending 20g was very easy. Having the different fingers is a must to build any kind of pan. The description says 1" lips but I believe you can bend a 3-4" lip. Setup was super simple as well as adjusting the metal place holder. I would recommend this unit for basic pan/metal braking.

24” metal brakeThis was a great bender, it was very easy to use and to adjust and made clean bands. I bought it to do 1/8” steel I knew it wasn’t rated for it, so I welded on a few pieces and it bends It like a champ! Eastwood has always been very good to me, their customer service is fabulous I would recommend this to anyone!

Very good little brake !I can make all the small stuff on this brake. It's like a small version of my big brake. I really prefer to use this one because of the ease of adjustments. It's well designed and it's light enough that it can be carried to job sites in the back of a small SUV. Good stuff!

Big Work SaverI was wondering how I was going to make small tapered channels for my airplane, since they can't be purchased anywhere. This brake did the job beautifully.
The instructions link appears to be broken. Can you let me know how I can obtain a copy?

Can I use this to fold a 1 5" u channel in 12ga mild steel?
Asked by: Scott
12 gauge is certainly too thick. We only recommend this unit be used with 20 gauge.

Any adaptors or suggestions to make a perfect 90º bend on 0.063 5051 aluminum?
Asked by: Brady
Use plenty of heat, but that thickness is outside of our 0.050" or 16 gauge aluminum max recommended capacity.

Thanks
