Do not exceed 90 psi (6.3 bar) of tool inlet air pressure. Do not force tool or exert side forces on pad while polishing. Wear approved eye and respiratory protection at all times when operating the tool. Keep loose clothing, jewelry and long hair away from rotating components. Always disconnect tool from air supply when changing disks. ONLY use 3-in polishing pads rated for a minimum of 2,500-RPM use. Always make sure the workpiece being polished is securely clamped or anchored.

Great heft and powerDefinitely a big step up from what I've been using. It feels really good in the hand - solid, hefty and durable. I've been using it for a few weeks now and every other air tool I've got feels like a toy compared to it. Wish they made more based on this design!

Best polisher I've hadLove this little polisher! It's much quieter than most others I've used. That's a nice feature when using it in an enclosed area. Would definitely buy again.

Pleasantly SurprisedI work for FCA autoshow car division. 90% of the time is spent wetsanding and polishing.
I bought this in a pinch, thinking i just needed it to last for a month or two.
Well, ive used it daily for hours, for almost 2 and a half years and it is just now starting to bind up. Some of my coworkers who have silver eagle, blue point, or CP 3 inch pistols have aaked me where i got this, and gave bought one. Its simple and it works. And surprisingly it lasts a long time.

Nice toolI bought this and the norton 3 inch buffing pad kit for it to buff some tight areas on my 1966 coronet. This thing works great. Exceeded my expectations by a lot. Gets in spots a full size buffer cannot. Can't beat it for the price and it came with the male end for the air line. Great value, thanks eastwood. I will put it through its paces!

Do WorkI bought this product because I burned my craftsman 3D sander up.
And, well...
They don't offer that product anymore.
(And... I know why)
I've only have hade this tool for a week, and have only used it twice.
So, as far as long term quality,
Know idea. That is why I only gave it 4 out of 5 stars.
So what I do know
I like this tool, heavy weight,
Fits nicely in my hand.
It feels like quality.
I hope it lasts!

mini air sanderAlways Great items and working great nerver had any problems
Does Eastwood carry the sanding disks for this? I can't find them anywhere. Their website is cumbersome and their phone support is MIA.

The picture of the backing pad shows both 5/16-24 and M6x1.0. 5/16-24 is 0.3125 in diameter, M6 is 0.236 in diameter. 5/16-24 is 24 threads per inch and M6-1.0 is 25.4 threads per inch. It can't be both. Which is it? What does the tool use?
