Works Really Well as Durable Metal SurfaceBought a can about six weeks ago for the impact surface of the back of a trailer where the tail gate comes up against the steel surface. Had needed to weld the seams back together due to modifications and wanted a smooth tough impact resistant surface after weld grinding. Worked great. Pretty thick so mixing is a bit of effort with the hardener. Mix thoroughly like Bondo. Apply quickly as sets up fast.
Side of can was caved in when received. Obviously shipped that way by Eastwood. Indicated to me a lack of caring and made product hard to access in can.

Great resultsNeeded to repair a rear window channel that was in rough shape. Read some reviews, looked into what others have done to fix this type of issue, and went with the All-Metal product. I was very impressed with the ease of mix and applied easily. Results were fantastic. After sanding and primer, can't tell the problem existed.

Great ProductBeen using this in restorations for a initial filler after welding and grinding patch panels. Sometimes a quick flip to fill a rust hole (used car special) 5 years later no bubbling or lifting. We never filler over patches without this for an initial base coat. 20 years using it and it's never let us down.

Works Great!I have been using this in restorations for years in the body shop. I do not recommend this being your final filler as it is porous to an extent, We have always used it after any metal patch or large repair is accomplished as a base layer for strength and rigidity. Once cured this stuff is rock hard compared to standard polyester fillers, but not brittle... Note though, after wiped and sanded let it sit for a day or so before applying other filler to this to make sure it has time to harden correctly. I would suggest using this on any area you have welded after it has been grinded and before plastic filler work. Outstanding product, been using for 15 years!
Why is all metal body filler so hard to get? Can it ship to utah?
Asked by: Don1
The restorers that use metal filler usually use Lead (Old school)
This product works exceptionally well.
we ship to Utah

Can I spray epoxy primer over All metal? Can I apply body filler over fully cured All Metal?
Asked by: Eric
Recommend performing a test area with the all metal and body filler. They epoxy primer will adhere as long as you follow prepping steps.

Hi can this be applied where there is a lead seam? I have replaced a trunk weatherstrip channel and had to remove some of the lead seam section to weld the channel. I could not wipe all the lead off and hoping this product will adhere to the lead.
Asked by: Roland
Yes, this product will adhere to the lead as long as the surface is properly sanded and degreased.

Can this filler be layered on top of itself? I prepped an area, and apparently didnt mix the hardner well enough, it was gummy, so I sand most of it off, sanded whole area with 80 grit, and reapplied. Im concerned about it sticking to the areas with AM
Asked by: danman
This can certainly be applied to itself as long as it's been sanded and prepped.

Could i powder coat over this ? Has to be able to bake at 400 degrees for 20 min. ? I am filling pitted rims before coating
Asked by: Brent
This is not designed to handle the heat of powder coating applications. you would want to use the High temp Lab metal: https://www.eastwood.com/hi-temp-lab-metal-24-oz.html
