| Do Not Use - Application - Depreciated | Tinning Butter is used to quickly tin clean steel surfaces for application of body solder. Stir and apply with Acid Brush (10086). Heat with your torch until a brownish foam appears, then wipe with a rag or steel wool. Remove residual from cool surface by wiping with lacquer thinner, then apply a mixture of baking soda and water to neutralize acids. The surface is now ready to apply Bopy Solder (31023). Always use hand and eye protection. Thoroughly wash hands after handling lead and before smoking or eating. Never use power sanders/tools to shape lead. Work in a well ventilated area. |
